Estrone in Fidelis Florida Water

Unhealthy Levels of Estrone in the Water Supply of Fidelis Florida Homes

Estrone is a naturally occurring estrogen hormone that can appear in water at very low concentrations and is often discussed as an “emerging contaminant” after wastewater or runoff enters waterways. You won’t see or taste estrone in tap water, but many Fidelis homeowners choose to address trace hormone compounds as part of a broader water-quality plan. Installing treatment for the whole house ensures every tap in your Fidelis home — not just the kitchen sink — receives the same protection.

Because estrone exists at very small concentrations, it’s not typically removed by basic sediment filters or simple aesthetic cartridges. Homeowners in and around Fidelis may first hear about it from regional testing summaries, utility communications, or media coverage about pharmaceuticals and hormones in water supplies. Even when local water meets required standards, many people prefer an extra layer of treatment for peace of mind; the right system targets trace organic compounds while maintaining everyday flow and convenience.
