Including filter system and high-performance Methomyl filter.
Methomyl is a pesticide that can reach drinking water through runoff or improper disposal, and homeowners in places like Fidelis may see it mentioned on water reports. Because methomyl dissolves in water it usually can’t be detected by sight, taste, or smell, so the only reliable way to know if it’s present is through utility disclosures or laboratory testing.
Even when Fidelis tap water looks clear, tiny amounts of contaminants can remain, and many families prefer to lower their exposure where practical. Concerns about methomyl often lead residents to seek protection for drinking, cooking, bathing, and everyday use. A single point-of-use filter treats only one fixture; to protect showers, laundry and every sink, many local homeowners opt for a whole-house system to provide consistent water quality throughout the home.
To reduce methomyl, the most effective single-filter choice for a whole-house system is activated carbon—often catalytic carbon or a dense carbon block media engineered for broad chemical reduction. Activated carbon adsorbs many organic compounds, including pesticide residues, as water flows through the media; because methomyl is dissolved, a correctly sized carbon tank with sufficient contact time is key. Installed at the main inlet, this whole-house filter treats water before it reaches taps and appliances in your Fidelis residence.
Mr. Pure Water sizes carbon media and systems to match your household flow so performance stays steady when multiple fixtures run at once. Whole-house carbon filtration also cuts many taste- and odor-causing chemicals that can accompany trace organics, improving water throughout Fidelis homes. If you have a utility notice or lab results, we’ll use that information to recommend the right configuration and maintenance plan so every tap, shower, and appliance gets cleaner water from a single centralized filter.
