Thallium in Fidelis Florida Water

Unhealthy Levels of Thallium in the Water Supply of Fidelis Florida Homes

Thallium is a naturally occurring metal that can be present in drinking water at very low concentrations but becomes a concern when levels increase. It can enter water through industrial discharges, mining runoff, or by leaching from certain rocks and soils, and you usually won’t be able to see, smell, or taste it in your tap water. For homeowners in Fidelis who want peace of mind, the first step is testing to find out whether thallium is present and then taking steps to limit exposure at faucets and fixtures.

If lab results show elevated thallium, it’s sensible to act even when water appears normal. Metals like thallium aren’t treated effectively by basic pitchers or by addressing only taste and odor, and a whole-house strategy gives consistent protection for every faucet, shower, and appliance in your Fidelis home. Mr. Pure Water can walk you through your test results and recommend the right treatment approach for your household needs.
