Including filter system and high-performance Uranium filter.
Uranium can enter household water when it dissolves out of certain rocks and soils into groundwater, and you won’t detect it by taste, smell, or sight. The only reliable way to know if it’s present in your Bon Ami supply is to have your water tested. Lab reports may list it simply as uranium or specify isotopes such as Uranium-234, Uranium-235, or Uranium-238, so check results carefully and reach out if you need help interpreting them.
Those commonly measured forms—Uranium-234, Uranium-235, and Uranium-238—are naturally occurring and are what labs report when testing for uranium. For homeowners in Bon Ami, the practical focus is on preventing dissolved uranium from entering your house at the point where water comes in. A whole-house system treats every faucet and fixture, which matters for drinking, cooking, bathing, and laundry rather than relying on a single under-sink device.
For treating uranium throughout a home, the most effective single-filter option is an ion exchange system (sometimes called an anion exchange or nitrate-selective resin depending on chemistry). That approach replaces charged ions in the water with ions on the resin, capturing dissolved uranium species as water passes through. Installed at the main line, it protects all water entering a Bon Ami house instead of treating just one outlet.
Because ion exchange performance depends on water chemistry—pH, alkalinity, and competing ions—the resin type and system design should match your Bon Ami water test. A complete install includes the resin tank plus regeneration or media-replacement components to maintain effectiveness. Mr. Pure Water can review your report and recommend an ion exchange whole-house setup tailored to lower uranium across your home.
